FOR THE FOODIES Sarah Glover is an internationally renowned nature chef who specialises in crafting uncomplicated and tasty food out in the wild. Author of WILD: Adventure Cookbook, Sarah’s love of wood-fired cooking has taken her all over the world. Where do you draw inspiration for your dishes? It would be no surprise that my main muse is nature. I love to create dishes based on my travels, new places I’ve visited and the environment that surrounds me. What are your favourite flavours to cook with in the warmer months? I love to keep things fresh. You’d be surprised with how much you can chuck on the grill. I load up my Traeger Pro 575 with mango, veggie skewers and whole fish dishes for the ultimate refreshing summer feast. Any extra tips for cooking lamb? If you’re using a marinade or rub for your lamb (my favourite is the Traeger Ultimate Dry Rub), you can leave this on for a few hours to let the protein really soak up the flavour. Then let your meat sit for about 30 minutes at room temperature before placing it on your grill, to avoid excess charring. 5 Minutes with Sarah Glover Chef and Traeger Grills Ambassador I love to ensure my recipes are accessible, adaptable and you’re encouraged to bring your own individual flair and sense of adventure to the kitchen (or wherever you’re cooking your meals).
